Orleski noted there are currently five open locations in Los Angeles, and the company has awarded over 70 locations across the country. Pause plans on opening six to 10 locations in 2024, with 20-30 more next year, Orleski said.
There are currently no locations in the Northeast.
On their website, Pause has a section for potential franchisees looking to open their own studio.
The proposed use of the building would be located within part of a previously approved mixed use project containing 22 dwelling units, five of which are designated as Moderate Cost Dwelling, said Eric V.P. Brower, AICP, in the project's narrative.
The former bank building is owned by 100 East Putnam LLC.
"There will be no exterior changes to the building nor any changes to the site plan previously approved by the Commission," Brower said.
A pre-application review for the proposed change of use from bank to wellness spa has not yet been scheduled to go before the Greenwich Planning & Zoning Commission.
