Connecticut Weather: Winter Storm Warning Issued For Tuesday
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for all of CT. Here is a look at how much snow you can expect.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning on Monday for the entire state of Connecticut as heavy snow is expected to fall late tonight and on Tuesday. The snow is expected to begin falling in parts of the state around 10 p.m. and continue into Tuesday afternoon. The heaviest snow is expected Tuesday morning.
Snow total estimates have changed a bit from Sunday as the storm is now moving slightly more to the east, which means a bit less snow, especially for western parts of Connecticut. (New, updated story: Hour-By-Hour Forecast of CT's 3rd Major Nor'easter Snowstorm).
Here is a look at how much snow the National Weather Service is predicting areas of the state will receive. For Fairfield and New Haven counties between 4 and 7 inches of snow is expected. In Middlesex and New London counties 6 to 9 inches of snow is likely and up to 12 inches in certain spots is also possible.

The trend is your friend. It looks like the storm has tracked a bit to the East so that means a little less snow for tomorrow!! Still thinking school cancellations though. pic.twitter.com/UNewcE9RLZ

Made some tweaks to the snow map to reflect an eastward trend on computer guidance this morning. Hopefully the trend continues, but I don't think we'll end up being snow-free from this storm. Light & fluffy snow, starting around midnight tonight, ending Tue evening. pic.twitter.com/6OXajAUu1l

WTNH News 8 Meteorologist Gil Simmons said "Calm before the storm today. Sun to clouds with 40s. Snow arrives tonight 9p-1a. Snow tomorrow tapering 1p-5p. Heaviest in the AM. Strongest winds SE CT again."
No change in our forecast. We think this is still right on. You may see higher forecasts from other media outlets but I would expect those to come down a bit. #nbcct pic.twitter.com/TyHFGpyjSE
