Woman Faces Several Charges After Attempting to Stab the Victim During An Argument
Greenwich Police say the suspect went to the victim's home and there was a confrontation over family issues.

A woman is facing numerous charges — including weapons possession, following an argument over family matters that included an attempt to stab the victim, according to Greenwich Police.
Several officers were dispatched to an Arther Street residence shortly after 9 a.m. Dec. 9 on a report that a woman got into a fight with the victim and tried to stab her in the neck with a small kitchen knife, according to a police report.
There were three small children in the residence and caught in the middle of the altercation, according to police spokesman Lt. Kraig Gray.

The suspect, identified as Veronica Lopez Sanchez, 25, of 227 Irving St., Port Chester, NY, was charged with carrying a dangerous weapon, third-degree criminal mischief, disorderly conduct, threatening, reckless endangerment, two counts of third-degree assault and three counts of risk of injury to a minor.
Lopez Sanchez was released after posting $10,000 bond and was scheduled to appear Dec. 10 in state Superior Court in Stamford.
