Work Week Weather: Big Temperature Changes in the Forecast

Today's weather feels more like summer but in a few days you'll need the fleece and by the weekend maybe even a jacket.

The Columbus Day forecast is amazing. Sunny skies and temps in the mid 70s for the entire state.

The temperature remains warm on Tuesday with readings in the low 70s but there is a 30 percent chance of showers anytime after 9 a.m., according to the National Weather Service.

On Wednesday, another slight chance of showers early and then it’s partly sunny skies with temps falling back into the mid 60s.

On Thursday, it’s a bit chillier with temps in the low 60s but sunny skies, and Friday the forecast calls for a chance of showers and most cloudy skies with temps in the upper 50s.

As of right now, the weekend forecast calls for old-fashioned New England autumn weather with temps in the low to mid 50s but plenty of sunshine.

The big story this week with weather is the more than 20-degree temperature change from Monday to Sunday.

But at least there isn’t any snow in the forecast, at least yet!

If you’re off today, enjoy the beautiful weather.
