• H.S. softball/baseball: Ledyard softball wraps up the ECC Division II title (theday.com) — Griswold’s softball and baseball teams both took tough ECC losses, with Montville winning 13-1 in five innings and New London edging the Wolverines 7-6 on a late RBI single. The roundup also highlights other Eastern Connecticut softball and baseball results, including Ledyard clinching the ECC Division II softball title and several standout pitching and hitting performances across the conference.
