2 Groton Bank Robbery Suspects Arrested After Pursuit: Report

Police said officers pursued the vehicle through New London and into Waterford.

GROTON, CT — Police said two men suspected in connection with a robbery at Navy Federal Credit Union were arrested Wednesday morning after a nearly 30-minute pursuit, according to media reports.

According to the New London Day, police said a suspect entered the bank Wednesday morning and passed a note demanding cash. The suspect then allegedly left with an unspecified amount of cash and fled the scene in a vehicle, police said.

According to News 8, police said officers pursued the vehicle on Interstate 95, through New London and into Waterford. The suspects fled the vehicle in Waterford but were arrested shortly after, police said.
