2 Kayakers Reported Missing In Groton: State Police
They were last seen at 2 a.m. Sunday.

GROTON, CT — Groton Police and the Fire Department are investigating a report of two missing kayakers. At 5 p.m. Sunday the emergency responders initiated a search for two adult kayakers that were reported missing. The missing adults were last seen at approximately 2 a.m. on May 27th.
The U.S. Coast Guard has responded to the scene, along with DEEP and Connecticut State Police boats to search for the missing adults.
The missing adults were last seen in the Long Island Sound near Avery Point. Anyone that sees a kayak or people in the water are asked to call Groton City Police, State Police or 911. Additional updates will be sent as they become available, State Police said.
