Accused Groton Murderer Appears in Court
He was recently detained in Canada after attempting to cross the border.
GROTON, CT - The 30-year old man accused of murdering Joey GIngerella appeared in New London Superior Court for arraignment Thursday, as reported by The Day.
Dante Hughes is charged with the fatal shooting of Gingerella outside Ryan’s Pub in Groton on December 11, according to The Day. He was recently detained in Canada after attempting to cross the border.
The judge transferred the case to the Huntington Street courthouse and continued it to January 10, according to The Day. No new information on the crime was available Thursday, as the arrest warrant in the case was sealed.
