Aldi Discount Grocery Store to Open New Groton Location this Year

GROTON, CT - Shoppers prepare; Aldi food market will open its first new store in Groton next month, as reported by The Day.

Aldi is a supermarket known for its discount groceries, according to The Day. The store will be located at 688 Long Hill Road in the Groton Shopping Center on February 2.

The store will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 8:30 a.m. on opening day, The Day reported Aldi will give the first 100 customers a “golden ticket” containing gift cards of various amount.
