The Band Azalea Drive Up Next at Concerts in the Park

Come hear the music play! There are only two more concerts left in the 2016 season of Concerts in the Park. Pure musical magic.

The band Azalea Drive will be featured next at Concerts in the Park 2016 on Friday, July 29, at 6:30 p.m. in Washington Park in the City of Groton.

Azalea Drive features Kym Apicelli, vocals; Ron Apicelli on Guitar; Dan Solomons on bass; and Doug Church on the drums.

The Concerts are free and start at 6:30 p.m. The concert series is co-sponsored and co-produced by Groton Utilities and the City of Groton Parks and Recreation Department.

The remaining concert will feature Rewind on and Friday, August 12.

There will be no concert on Friday, August 5, City of Groton Day. The remaining rain date is Friday, August 19.

Food is available on site. The Groton Babe Ruth League sells food and drink as a fund raiser.

The concerts are designed to be especially appealing to families for a fun, inexpensive night out. Spectators are encouraged to bring their families and perhaps a picnic supper. The concert site also has sufficient room on the basketball court for dancing.
