Beyond the Basics

COMO Instructional Basketball teaches essential basketball skills and more!

Stonington, Connecticut – Does your child want to learn how to play basketball, or refine their dribbling, passing and shooting skills? The Stonington Community Center, Inc. (COMO) offers Instructional Basketball for youth grades K-2, providing the perfect opportunity for kids to learn the fundamentals of the game and work on their ball handling!

Each practice will feature skill building games, drills and activities, hosted in the COMO gym. The COMO’s safe and fun atmosphere is great for kids who are trying the game for the first time, or who want to join the REC league next year.

Session I runs Thursdays, January 5 – February 2. Session II, also on Thursdays, runs from February 16 – March 16. Choose the session that works best for your schedule, or sign up for both to maximize the basketball fun!
