Bike Lanes To Be Added To Thomas Road In Groton: Report

GROTON, CT — Thomas Road in Groton is being resurfaced, a project which will see bike lanes added to each side of the road, the New London Day reports. The $400,000 project is the first time the road has been resurfaced since the 1980's.

According to the Day, town officials said contractors began road reclamation Monday, and resurfacing should start Friday and be finished next week. The 3-foot wide bike lanes will be added by another contractor once resurfacing is finished.
