Calling All Amateur Bakers - 4 More Days to Enter COMO Pie Bake-Off!

Stonington COMO Introduces Pie Bake-Off at 63rd Annual Village Fair! Entries due 7/31.

In true fair fashion, the Stonington Community Center will be adding a new and delicious facet to the 63rd Annual Village Fair, a Pie Bake-Off! Calling all amateur bakers, you have until July 31st to submit your entries (pies to be dropped off on Fair Day).

The competition will be judged by Paul Krawic, Executive Chef of the Mystic Marriott Hotel & Spa, and Jamie Fowler, Executive Chef of Water Street Cafe. Ribbons and prizes will be awarded for the top three youth and adult entries. Each contestant must provide two pies, one for judging and one for the pie auction. Each entry fee is $10. There will also be a youth cookie division for those under the age of 8-17. Youth entry fee is $5. Judging will take place at 12 PM on fair day, Saturday, August 1st, and winners will be announced at 12:30 PM.
