Chelsea Groton Bank Promotes Wellness at Work
Over the course of approximately two months, 145 employees logged over 46,000 miles for a walking challenge.

From Chelsea Groton Bank: A few years ago, Chelsea Groton launched CFit STRIVE, a wellness program designed with incentives to track and challenge employees in physical, mental, and financial well-being. Recently, the Bank’s Wellness Team, who leads the CFit Strive initiatives, challenged employees to participate in a Walk Across America challenge. From mid-July – mid-September, 145 team members formed a total of twenty walking teams. Together, they logged over 46,000 miles.
“We’re proud to offer members of our team opportunities to work with wellness coaches, participate in challenges that promote healthy habits throughout the year, and most of all, support each other as we strive to be the best version of ourselves that we can be,” explained Becky Jacoinski, Benefits and Wellness Administrator at Chelsea Groton Bank. “About 70% of our team signed up and completed the walking challenge, which is a testament to the commitment of our team members and the support we’ve been able to provide to one another.”
