Child Care Argument Leads To Assault Charges: Groton Police
Groton police said a man was recently charged with assault and disorderly conduct following an argument over child care.

GROTON, CT —Police said a man was charged with assaulting a Groton woman Sunday night at a Hickory Drive residence following an argument over child care, the New London Day reported.
According to the Day, police said Scott Brown, 36, of no certain address was visiting his child at the residence when he became aggravated over child care and said he wanted full custody. Residents of the home said the accused grabbed a knife and threatened to kill himself.
Police said the accused was "aggressive" and officers had to use a Taser to subdue him, according to the Day. Police also said one of the residents was injured as she tried to block the accused from grabbing another knife.
