Convicted Child Molester Nabbed in Groton: PD

He was a fugitive from justice who left Rhode Island, according to police.

GROTON, CT — A convicted child molester who was a fugitive from justice was captured by officers in Groton July 12, according to police.

Groton Police assisted by the Regional Community Enhancement Task Force got a tip that a fugitive from Rhode Island named TJ was staying at a local hotel.
Theodore "TJ" Stephenson, 33, was taken into custody by police and charged as a fugitive from justice. He failed to register a change of address with the Westerly Police Department.
