Coronavirus Groton: New Case Reported
A Groton woman has tested positive for COVID-19.

GROTON, CT — Gov. Ned Lamont announced 104 new positive cases across the state Sunday, marking 327 total cases. One of those is a 52-year-old Groton woman, The New London Day reported.
There are currently four confirmed cases of COVID-19 in southeastern Connecticut: East Lyme, Norwich, Montville, and Groton.
Eight people have died across the state due to the spread of the virus.

A 44-year-old East Lyme woman also tested positive for the virus last week, the first case in New London County.
In Fairfield County, 208 positive cases have been reported and 20 people are in the hospital and five deaths have occurred. In Hartford County, 54 positive cases have been reported and 13 people are in the hospital and one death occurred. In New Haven County, 29 positive cases have been reported and nine people are in the hospital.

In Tolland County, 14 positive cases have been reported and two people are in the hospital and two deaths have occurred. In Litchfield County, 12 positive cases have been reported and three people are in the hospital. One person is in the hospital and one positive case has been reported in Windham County.
