Crews Put Out Fire at Groton Laundromat

GROTON, CT - Firefighters were able to contain a fire at a Groton laundromat Thursday, the New London Day reported.

Fire officials said the Super Saver Laundromat on Long Hill Road sustained smoke and possibly some water damage as a result of the incident, according to the New London Day. The building is located in the Groton Plaza Shopping Center.

This was the second fire in the last three months to occur at the laundromat, the New London Day reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
