Firefighter Asleep In Vehicle Charged With DUI In Groton: Report

State police said the accused was found sleeping in a vehicle in Groton with three firearms in the car.

GROTON, CT – State police said a Jordan Fire Company volunteer was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs last week after he was found sleeping in a car parked in the center median to the east of the Gold Star Memorial Bridge, the New London Day reported.

According to the New London Day, police said Jacob Reagan, 30, of Waterford showed "signs of impairment" but refused field sobriety tests. Police said they located a loaded 9mm pistol in a holster on the accused's belt and a second pistol and an AR-15 rifle in a locked gun case inside the vehicle.
