Firefighters Extinguish Flames At Diary Queen In Groton
Firefighters worked to put out a fire at a Diary Queen in Groton.

GROTON, CT - Firefighters worked to put out a fire Wednesday at the Diary Queen on Fort Hill Road in Groton, the New London Day reported. Fire officials said the incident occurred around 8:20 a.m.
Fire officials said crews responded to a small fire that broke out in the back right corner of the building, according to the New London Day. Firefighters were able to force entry through a rear door and quickly extinguish the flames, officials said. Officials said the restaurant is currently closed, the New London Day reported. Crews were assisted by Naval Submarine Base, City of Groton, Old Mystic and Mystic firefighters.
