Ban Fracking Waste in Southeastern CT - Oct 23, 2017 meeting

IREJN, Food and Water Watch, and Noank Baptist Church will be co-hosting an informational session on how towns can ban fracking waste on Monday, October 23, 2017 at 7:00 pm at Noank Baptist Church.

The state failed to pass a statewide ban on toxic, radioactive fracking waste in 2015, instead, they passed a three year moratorium. In the interim, over 25 towns in Connecticut have passed bans on fracking waste. We will meet on Monday, October 23 to discuss banning fracking waste in Southeastern CT towns, with a specific focus on Groton.
