Betty Brustolon, a long-time resident of Noank, passed away yesterday
(Tuesday) morning. She had been ill for the past few years, and was recently
predeceased by her husband, Gene. Their son, Carl, well known to many of us,
has been handling their affairs during this period. Betty was previously
very active in local community affairs, including with the Noank Baptist Church
and the Noank Historical Society, among others organizations
Carl advises that Calling Hours at the Mystic Funeral Home (860 536 2888)
are tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, 9/26/17 from 6 to 8 PM. The Funeral
itself will be at the Noank Baptist Church on Wednesday, 9/27/17 at 10 AM.
Burial will follow at the Noank Valley Cemetery. There will be a Reception
following the Burial at a location to be announced at the service.

Carl advises that Betty's formal Obituary will most likely be carried in
the New London DAY Sunday Edition on 9/24/17.
