Groton Christian Bookstore Will Close After 24 Years
The couple's store is one of the only ones in the area.

GROTON, CT- Those who have been to their store will surely be keeping a Groton couple in their prayers.
Christian bookstore Cornerstone Bookstore will close in July after 24 years in business, The Day reported.
The store, located at 770 Long Hill Road, has fallen on hard times due to rising business costs and Internet sales, according to The Day. Owners Dennis and Liz McGee are hoping and appropriately praying that someone will buy the business and reopen in a new location.

The couple has run the store in a number of spots around Groton after buying the business in 1992, as reported by The Day. It is named after a passage in the Book of Ephesians and carries various Christian books and other goods, including DVDs, cards, Bibles and church supplies.
