Groton City Police Chief Michael Spellman said they would be executing a search warrant, Anderson was under a protective order. He said she would face "myriad" charges and will be held on a $250,000 cash bond. Spellman said she had one gun.
Spellman apologized for inconveniencing residents but said that the community's safety was a priority and a shelter in place issued was "out of an abundance of caution."
City of Groton and Connecticut State Police tactical units spent the night negotiating with the woman.
