GROTON, CT - Town councilors delved further into options concerning the budget on Tuesday, the New London Day reported.

A $125.1 million budget was proposed last week that assumes the town would lose $5 million in state revenue, according to the New London Day. The proposal, however, would require a 15.4 percent hike in the tax rate.
