Groton Developer's Perkins Farm Plans Met with Approval by Officials and Residents
Current plans have partially resulted from a Groton developer's discussions with Stone Ridge residents.

MYSTIC, CT – All parties involved urged the town Planning and Zoning Committee on Tuesday to approve a new floating zone and enable plans for Perkins Farm to move forward, The Day reported.
Residents of Stone Ridge had opposed previous commercial projects on the farm, but spoke in favor of the new proposal at the meeting, according to The Day. Groton developer David Lattizori has spent the past year in discussion with residents to develop the latest plans.
The plan calls for a $60 million medical, research and residential campus on 70 acres of the property off Jerry Browne Road, according to The Day. Lattizori said that the project would be the town’s biggest taxpayer and bring in 360 jobs.
