Groton Electric Boat Will Soon Allow Employees to Carry Phones with Cameras
The current policy restricts camera-enabled devices on company property.

GROTON, CT – Electric Boat plans to soon allow employees and visitors to carry cellphones with camerason them, The Day reported.
Officials are working towards revising its security policy to allow employees, as well as visitors, to carry camera-enabled phones and devices into work areas, according to The Day. Current policy does not allow phones with camera functions onto company property.
Officials said photography and video will still be prohibited, The Day reported. The current policy will remain in effect until Sept. 1, after all employees complete necessary training.
