Groton Man Accused of Stealing Millions of Dollars from Estate
Police began to investigate after suspicious activity was reported.

GROTON, CT – A local man is accused of stealing $1.2 million from a Groton estate, NBC Connecticut reported.
David Burrell, 68, was arrested on July 20, according to NBC Connecticut. Police said Burrell was in charge of the estate.
Authorities began to investigate after the Groton Probate Court reported suspicious activity, NBC Connecticut reported. Burrell will appear in court on Aug. 1.
