Groton Police K-9 Unit Assist in Capture of New London Domestic Disturbance Suspect
Groton The suspect was pursued by both New London Police and a K-9 unit.
NEW LONDON, CT- A local man was arrested Friday afternoon after police said he fled the scene of a domestic disturbance, Fox 61 reported.
Police responded at approximately 3:45 p.m. to a domestic disturbance investigation and were informed upon arrival that the suspect, Patrick Kennedy, had left the scene, according to Fox 61. He was not found at his house and police set up a perimeter, as well as calling in a Groton Police K-9 unit.
Kennedy was subsequently found and taken into custody, Fox 61 reported. He was charged with unlawful restraint, breach of peace and interfering with police.
