Groton Police Seek Help Identifying Suspected Purse Thief
Police said the suspect attempted to use a stolen credit card at a nearby store.

GROTON, CT- Police have taken to social media to seek out the public’s help in identifying and locating a suspect.
According to a recent Facebook post, police responded Tuesday around 6:45 p.m. to the Copp dog park property for a motor vehicle break-in that resulted in a woman’s purse being stolen.
The woman’s missing credit card had been used earlier at a Kohl’s in Groton, and the suspect also attempted to use the card at a local Stop & Shop. He was caught on surveillance footage, which the post displays pictures of.
