Groton Police Seek Suspect in Connection with Henny Penny Armed Robbery

Anyone with information is asked to contact police immediately.

GROTON, CT – Police announced Tuesday they had obtained an arrest warrant for a Mystic man suspected in connection to an armed robbery.

Brandon Billian, 35, is suspected of entering Henny Penny, located at the corner of Route 184 and Route 117, close to 11:30 p.m. for an armed robbery on May 25. Police said the suspect entered the business brandishing a knife and stole an amount of cash from the register.

The suspect then fled on foot towards Candlewood Road.

Detectives and officers have investigated the incident over the past four months, and have identified Billian as a result. He is charged with first-degree robbery with a deadly weapon.

Police ask anyone with information on the suspect's whereabouts to contact them immediately. Billian is described by police as a white male measuring six foot and 1 inch tall, weighing 240 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
