Groton Police Seize Over 130 Bags Of Heroin, $2,542 Cash: Report
Police said officers seized over 130 bags of heroin and over $2,000 in cash after investigating a vehicle in a Groton parking lot.

GROTON, CT — Police said officers seized over 130 bags of heroin and other drugs, as well as over $2,000 in cash, Monday after investigating a vehicle in the parking lot of a local business, the New London Day reported.
According to the Day, police said officers seized 133 bags of heroin, 26 grams of crack cocaine and 60 benzodiazepine pills among other drugs, as well as $2,542 in cash. Police said the vehicle's occupants, Sasha Ann Santiago, 28, of Norwich and Alejandro Guerra, 30, of Hartford, were arrested on a number of charges.
