Groton Police Snap Picture With Sea Lion During Family Outing

MYSTIC, CT — Groton Town police officers attended the Law Enforcement Memorial Family Outing to Mystic Aquarium on Wednesday, where they escorted families and even took pictures with one of the aquarium's famous California sea lion performers.

According to a post on the department's Facebook page, the foundation takes care of families "left behind by police officers who gave the ultimate sacrifice."
