Groton Police To Teach Young Adults 'Ins and Outs' Of Cars

Young adults are invited to the Bill Memorial Library in Groton this week to learn the "ins and outs" of cars from police.

GROTON, CT — Young adults between the ages of 15 and 25 are invited to the Bill Memorial Library in Groton this week to learn the "ins and outs" of cars from police. The event will take place Thursday from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

According to Facebook, participants will learn how to "jump a dead car battery and jack up a car to fix a flat." They will also learn what to do in the event of an accident, and each participant will receive a zipper pouch for important paperwork.

The workshop is part of the library’s “How To Adult” series, which focuses on essential skills for young adults. Participants will also be entered into a raffle for prizes.
