Groton Resident Wins $1.5 Million Lottery Prize

GROTON, CT — Congratulations are in order for a Groton resident who recently won big after playing a Connecticut lottery game.

According to the Connecticut Lottery, resident Thomas Kempesta won $1.5 million on a Connecticut Millionaires Club ticket Friday. The ticket was purchased from the Bp Food Mart in Colchester.
