Groton Switching to Once a Week Sanitation Pickup

GROTON, CT- If you notice your trash has not been picked up at some point next month, it’s actually all according to plan.

The City’s website said Groton will be switching over to once a week sanitation pickup. The new schedule is set to begin July 5.

The post said that almost all routes have been affected. This includes recycling and other similar routes.

To ease residents into the new system, the city has provided links on their website under City Announcements to determine your newly scheduled day.
