Jeffrey's Rainbow Run 5K Benefits Local High School Scholarships

The 3rd annual Jeffrey’s Rainbow Run is to honor the life of Salem Resident Jeffrey Bourgeois, whose life was lost in a tragic accident in the Spring of 2012. Proceeds from this race fund a scholarship in his name given to two graduating students at East Lyme High School who look to further their education in the Animal Sciences field or a career in which they will work with children.

Event Details and Schedule

• Friday, Sept. 12, at McCook Point Park, 8-10 Atlantic St., Niantic, CT
• The race begins promptly at 6 p.m.
• Race organizers will be set-up at the entrance to McCook Point Park for packet pick-up and pre-race concessions.
• Parking is available within the park and at the VFW located just before the park.
• Children Under 12: $15
• 13 and older: $25
