The History of Fishers Island's Tangled Relations with the Mainland
Pierce Rafferty, director of Fishers Island’s Henry L. Ferguson Museum, will present an illustrated lecture that chronicles the history of Fishers Island’s tangled relationships with the mainland, including border line disputes, secession and annexation attempts, and the lobster wars.
