Man Found With Drugs, Stun Gun At Groton Hotel: Police
Police said a man at a Groton hotel was arrested after he fled from officers and was later found with drugs and a stun gun.

GROTON, CT - Police said a man at a Groton hotel was arrested last week after he fled from officers, the New London Day reported. He was later found with drugs and an illegal stun gun in his possession, police said.
Police said officers approached Mark L. Pates, 32, of Wakefield, R.I., at the unidentified hotel after learning he had the illegal weapon, according to the New London Day. The suspect fled on foot after officers attempted to take him into custody, police said.
Police said Pates was arrested after a brief chase, the New London Day reported. The suspect was later found to have heroin and cocaine in his possession and packaged for sale, according to police.
