Man Found With Nearly 300 Narcotic Pills At Groton Motel: Report

Police said a Pennsylvania man was arrested after he was found with approximately 300 narcotic pills at a Groton motel.

GROTON, CT — Police said a Pennsylvania man was arrested Friday after he was found with approximately 300 narcotic pills at a Groton motel, the New London Day reported. The accused was also found with over $1,300 in cash, police said.

According to the Day, police said 61-year-old Joseph A. Carbone of Broadheadsville, Pa., was arrested after Mashantucket police suspected he was trafficking narcotic pills from New York. The accused was subsequently located at the motel by Groton detectives.
