Massive Apartment Complex Approved In Groton: Report
A massive apartment complex was approved at a recent Planning and Zoning meeting, according to a report.
GROTON, CT — The Groton Planning & Zoning Commission has signed off on plans for an apartment complex with 395 units, according to Hearst Connecticut Media.
Columbia Crossing will have five identically sized, five-story buildings on 18 acres. The project will be situated on four wooded parcels above Gold Star Highway.

Approval comes after another large residential project wrapped up in Groton. Triton Square is a new apartment development with over 300 units of studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom designs.
The project broke ground in 2023. The development includes a clubhouse, fitness center, and more.
