Mattress Causes Groton Highway Accident that Left 2 Injured
A chain reaction is believed to have started a chain reaction accident.

GROTON, CT – A mattress caused a chain reaction accident Thursday that left two people with minor injuries, The Day reported.
The accident occurred on the Gold Star Memorial Bridge, which fire officials said was caused by a mattress that blew off a vehicle, according to The Day. At least three vehicles were damaged in the crash.
Two people were injured and transported to the hospital, The Day reported. Four lanes of the highway were closed for about a half an hour as a result.
