URGENT MESSAGE - CHURCH PRESENTATION 9/28/14 at 7:00 PM
Dear friends,
This is a blitz email to those of you who may be interested in attending a presentation illuminating the background of the politics and realities of the Middle East today (no small task!). Journalist and educator, Tom Verde, who has lived and traveled throughout the Middle East, as well as reported and produced programs for NPR, CT Public Radio, and the print media, will present “The Children of Abraham: A History of the Conflict in the Middle East and Why it Matters to us Today.” The program will be at Noank Baptist Church in Groton this coming Sunday (Sept. 28) at 7:00 pm. It is free and open to the public. This presentation is one in a series of programs we have hosted on the current dynamics in this region of the world.
