Learn the basics field hockey this fall, or advance your skills and game strategy by playing on an AC league team. The Stonington Community Center, Inc. is one of the only facilities around offering two field hockey options for our younger players, starting September 12th!

Our Fall Training is a good fit for players grades 3-8 who are just getting started with the sport. Players will train once a week, developing skills and scrimmaging alongside AC players. Practices are held Mondays 5:30pm – 7:00pm. Coach Danielle Lemieux will guide players through the fundamentals of field hockey, providing a great introduction to the sport before high school!

AC Field Hockey is offered for grades 6-8, as part of the Lead the Way Field Hockey Fall League. Players will practice Mondays, from 5:30pm – 7:00pm starting September 12, with games on Saturdays. The season lasts from September through the end of October, with the final game scheduled for October 30. Practices occur on the COMO playing fields, and games will be located at Brown University or East Greenwich High School in Rhode Island. Players must wear shin guards and mouth guards to participate. Sticks will be provided by COMO for players who need them.
