Police Arrest Man Charged In Groton Home Invasion Case
New London police said a man was "extremely combative" when they arrested him for his alleged connection to a recent Groton home invasion.

NEW LONDON, CT - New London police said a man was "extremely combative" when they arrested him for his alleged connection to an October 4 home invasion in Groton. The suspect was arrested Wednesday afternoon by members of the New London and Groton police departments, police said.
Police said Albert W. Goss, 25, of no certain address acted combative when officers attempted to arrest him on a felony arrest warrant. Goss and several officers were transported to the hospital for treatment of injuries sustained from the incident, according to a release. Police said the suspect and the officers were all subsequently released from the hospital with minor injuries. Goss was then arrested and charged with home invasion, robbery and burglary with additional charged pending, police said.
