Police Blotter: Repeat Violation Of Protective Order Gets Ledyard Man $250K Bail

A 41-year-old Ledyard man, arrested and charged by Groton Police Thursday, was arrested and charged a day earlier by Connecticut State Police. John M. Daley of 80 Meetinghouse Lane was charged by CSP with a number of violations including a felony charge of violating a protective order issued last summer. He was released on $75,000 surety bond.
The next day, he allegedly violated the protective order again and was charged by Groton Police, though this time he’s being held on $250,000 bail. Daley is slated to appear in court today on the Groton Police charges. He will face the CSP charges in court Dec. 1.

Michelle Hanson, 18, of 187 Ledgewood Road in Groton was charged with possession of marijuana, second degree unlawful restraint, second degree assault and disorderly conduct. She is set to return to court Jan. 4, 2012.

David C. Sacco, 43, of Glastonbury, CT was charged with second degree harassment. He was charged in June with 12 counts of misdemeanor harassment. He turned himself in to police and was released on a $10,000 bond pending a court date of Dec. 16.
Roberto Aguirre, 37, of New London, was arrested on a warrant in connection with an October arrest and charge of driving with a suspended license and sixth degree larceny. He’s due on court Nov. 30.

Susan Sauls, 45, of 53a Fieldstone Drive, was charged with second degree breach of peace. She is due in court Jan. 5, 2012.
Amanda Morrone, 33, of 5 Robin Way, Westerly, was arrested by Groton Town Police in connection with September larceny case. She was charged with criminal attempt and sixth degree larceny. Her next court date is Dec. 7, the same court date for Stonington Police charges of forth and sixth degree larceny and third degree burglary.
