Police Issue Silver Alert For Missing Groton Teen

GROTON, CT — Police have issued a silver alert for a teenager reported missing from Groton since Wednesday. Anyone with information is asked to contact police immediately.

Police describe Alicha Ruiz as a 15-year old white female with black hair and brown eyes. She is approximately 5 feet and 5 inches tall, and weighs approximately 140 pounds, police said.

Police said she was last seen wearing a black Nike jacket, mint green pants and black boots. No photo was available, police said.
