Public Meeting to discuss FRACKING - 7pm 10/23/17 at Noank Baptist Church

Information on Fracking in CT

A program on banning wastes derived from fracking will be held at Noank Baptist Church on Monday, October 23, 2017, at 7 pm.

The objective is to inform the public and to encourage Groton town leaders to work on instituting protections from future state regulation of toxic and potentially radioactive wastes, as 27 other Connecticut towns and cities have done, including New London.

The program is sponsored by the Food and Water Advocacy group and the InterReligious Ecojustice Network of CT. All town leaders and the Groton residents are invited to attend.
