Reps. Scott and Bumgardner to Host Forum on Lowering Electric Bills in Groton

The workshop is meant to inform residents on ways to potentially lower their electric bills.

HARTFORD, CT – State Representatives John Scott (R-40) and Aundré Bumgardner (R-41) are hosting a workshop in Groton on Monday, Oct. 17, at the Groton Senior Center on Newtown Road.

The workshop is meant to inform residents on ways to potentially lower their electric bills.

Rate specialists from Connecticut’s Public Utilities Regulatory Authority will be at the senior center to guide attendees through the process. Residents are welcome and encouraged to bring a recent copy of their electric bill.

This event is free and open to the public. Constituents who are unable to attend but would still like to connect with their state representative can contact Scott or Bumgardner.
