Suspected Police Officer Impersonator Located: Groton Police
The Groton Police Department sought the public's help in identifying the person driving the pictured car.
The Groton Town Police Department located and identified the vehicle and operator suspected of impersonating a police officer.
In an earlier release, police requested assistance from the public and described the vehicle.
“The vehicle has red and blue flashing strobe lights in the front and rear of the vehicle,” police said. “It was also utilizing an audible siren. There are no markings on the vehicle or license plates that would designate the SUV as an emergency vehicle.”
